PERMA Mental Health was founded in July of 2014 with the goal of taking Idaho from having the worst mental healthcare coverage to the best in the nation. Perma's mission statement and foundational guidelines focus on integrating psychotherapy with medication management and listening to their patients. PERMA's providers have unique skills that they have brought to the table to enhance the variety of services they offer, such as basic functional medicine, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, weight loss and bariatric/obesity treatment, and more. PERMA is committed to providing "protected time" with their patients, prioritizing talk therapy, and seeing patients whether they want to take psychiatric medications or not.
Tele-Health services
In addition to its unique approach, PERMA also stands out for its tele-health services, which allow them to provide most services at most locations or even from the comfort of patients' own homes. However, in-house ketamine is only offered at Twin Falls, Boise (Milwaukee St), and Nampa locations.
